Please note: Drinks and snacks are available in the self-service area; hot meals can be ordered at the cash desk. Our meals are freshly prepared and can be picked up at the serving counter 5 - 10 minutes after you placed your order.
Let's get out – and head straight to Munich's wonderful “Biergarten am Muffatwerk”. Besides the traditional beer garden dishes we serve crispy salads, fish, and organic meat from the lava stone grill. We also offer a great selection of drinks: apart from the traditional Hofbräu beer we serve organic beer from the Lammsbräu Brewery, a selection of good wines, and Italian espresso. Our little guests can play in the sandpit or enjoy organic ice cream while their parents can enjoy the unique historical setting on the banks of the river Isar.

The beer garden offers 400 seats in a sunny south-west location. 100 of the seats are sheltered from too much sun or rain by Munich's largest awning!
Our food range varies from classic beer garden dishes with a Mediterranean touch to light vegetarian meals. The drinks menu features fresh Hofbräu and unfiltered Bio-Lammsbräu from the tap, good wines, espresso and everything one hopes to find in a well-stocked bar. The location on the 70 km long Isar bike trail (from Wolfratshausen to Freising) is unique: it is surrounded by greenery but right next to a listed industrial site. Cyclists will find plenty of bike racks, smaller kids can play in a sandpit and the bigger ones can find some entertainment at a public playground only 150 meters away.
Since its opening in August 2002, the "Biergarten am Muffatwerk" has been an insider tip and has received excellent reviews in local newspapers. With its unique location right by the Isar, the late opening hours and the wide range of dishes and drinks, our beer garden fills a gap in Munich's outdoor gastronomy.
